This notes follows teh English Textbook as provided by NEB for class 12 english subject. The text book has language development and litersture section where language development section includes contemporary issue based local and global thematic texts which helps to develop intensive reading skills and foster grammar , vocabulary , speech and writing skills . And other section which is literature section includes genre based literary texts for reading and thinking so as to enable students to discern different aspects of literary texts and for creative writing skills .

As per the sillabus there are 20 chapters in Language development section and on other side literature is divided into short stories ,poems , essays and one act play which has 7 , 5 , 5 , 3 chapters respectively.
