Computer Graphics (CSC 214) is a core Third Semester subject in Tribhuvan University’s BSc CSIT program (current / new course code). It covers graphics hardware and software, 2D/3D drawing and transformations, object representation, solid modeling, visible-surface detection, illumination and shading, virtual reality concepts, and OpenGL labs.
On this page you’ll find the official CSC 214 syllabus and Computer Graphics notes PDF by Maruti Dhungana.
Note: Older batches may still see CSC 209 on past papers; the syllabus content is largely the same. CSC 214 is the current code under the revised grading system.
What you’ll learn
- Raster/vector displays and graphics software standards
- Scan conversion algorithms (line, circle, ellipse, area fill)
- 2D and 3D transformations, viewing, and projections
- Curves, surfaces, solid modeling, and hidden-surface methods
- Illumination models, shading, VR basics, and OpenGL drawing
