Class 12 results (board exam)
The Class 12 final examination is NEB's centralized +2 board exam. Results are published online for Science, Management, General and other faculties once processing is complete.

Class 11 results (internal)
Since 2077 BS, Class 11 finals are not a NEB board exam. Your school or college conducts the internal exam using CDC model questions and submits marks to NEB's portal for record-keeping.

How to check from official NEB portals
Online (website)
Visit neb.ntc.net.np or exam.neb.gov.np → select Grade 12 / Class 12 result → enter Symbol Number and Date of Birth (BS, e.g. 2064-08-15) → Submit.
SMS (when activated by NEB)
NEB may activate SMS via Nepal Telecom during result hours. Check the latest notice at neb.gov.np for the exact format and short code (often similar to NEB [symbol] to 1600).
Through your school
Your school receives the official grade sheet and transcript. Contact your exam section if you cannot access the online portal or need a printed copy.
Marksheet & retotaling
Download your marksheet PDF from the portal when available. For rechecking/retotaling, apply within NEB's deadline - usually via your school or the student portal with a per-subject fee.

- Theory: minimum 35% of theory marks (e.g. 27/75)
- Practical / internal: minimum 40% of practical marks (e.g. 10/25)
- Both components must pass - a high combined total does not override a failed component
- Overall GPA is a credit-hour weighted average of subject grade points
